Personal Life
Dr. Heim grew up in Green Bay, WI. He’s called northwest Oklahoma City his home since 2003. When not working, Dr. Heim usually spends time with his wife, Somer, who’s a pediatric dentist, and their three young children, Bennett, Blaire, and Briar. Their family also consists of their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Oscar.
Dr. Heim is active in his church and neighborhood community and enjoys playing golf, grilling, and collecting vinyl records. Dr. Heim is also an avid NFL fan and loves to cheer for his Green Bay Packers.
Orthodontics is a constantly changing field. The ongoing innovations in technology and treatments require an orthodontist to pursue continuing education (CE) in order to remain current. Dr. Heim and Dr. Steffenhagen avail themselves of many CE opportunities throughout the year. By attending local, regional, and national conferences, and participating in a local study club, Dr. Heim and Dr. Steffenhagen ensure patients have the best treatment options and care experience.

Family
Dr. Steffenhagen was born in Newport News, VA, but was raised in Choctaw, OK. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Cole, and being a pup mom to little Poquita. She enjoys all arts, including dance, music, and painting, as well as spending as much time outdoors as possible.
